Chris (known in the Outward Bound world and herein referred to as “Slice,”) found passion in the outdoors when he started rock climbing in 2008. Since then, Slice managed his local rock gym and guided trips to the local crags. After high school, he enrolled in an Outdoor Educator course at the National Outdoor Leadership School where he learned his passion for teaching in the outdoors. Slice started as an intern at Philadelphia Outward Bound School in 2015 and is currently a full-time instructor. When not in the field, Slice can be found doing pursuing the following hobbies: juggling, eating pizza, playing music, writing poetry, unicycling, knitting, yoyoing, terrarium building, typewriting, slacklining, rock climbing, mountain biking, geocaching, brewing tea, thrift shopping, climbing trees, skateboarding, and eating pizza.
