Keenan Corrigan is the Corporate Relations & Events Manager at the Philadelphia Outward Bound School and is in her 4th year with Outward Bound.
Before her current role, Keenan worked as a Field Instructor for both the Philadelphia and Baltimore Chesapeake Bay Schools and spent most of 2013 either on the Appalachian Trail with a backpack or in the Delaware Water Gap in a canoe. Having seen firsthand the power of Outward Bound, Keenan is thrilled to be able to continue to serve by building partnerships and leading fundraising efforts, ultimately providing more students with the opportunity to change their lives through challenge and discovery.
Prior to Outward Bound, Keenan graduated from Duke University with a BA in History and Political Science and spent a couple years working for the United States Department of Defense as an Analyst (it made sense at the time!). Keenan grew up in Chesapeake, VA, where she spent her summers on the Bay, at the beach or in a book.
She credits her taste for adventure to the insane amount of fantasy-fiction she’s devoured, her love for the outdoors to her mother (who used to lock her and her brothers out of the house in summer), and her passion for youth development to her 10 years as a Girl Scout.
