The session offers short, ice-breaker and energizer activities that may be incorporated at the beginning of the day, between learning activities or throughout the school day when the group needs a pick-me-up. Participants will discuss the difference between activity types (icebreakers, energizers, relationship builders, and team builders) and how these quick activities can benefit the class and educators and have the opportunity to play and model activities and variations.
Session Objectives:
- Define the difference between ice-breakers and energizers and relationship-building activities.
- Learn and model 7-10 ice-breakers and energizers.
- Understand the value and timing of facilitating these activities.
