This professional development series for educators focuses on social and emotional awareness and practice, relationship and community building, peer supports, and practical tools for use in the online and in-person learning environments. POBS is committed to supporting our partners through this challenging time as they reinforce the importance of the safety, health, well-being, and healing processes of students, families, and staff.
Sessions will be facilitated live for synchronous learning throughout the school year and summer. Sessions may be delivered to educators and educational teams, support staff, administrative staff, or even parent support teams. POBS will invite educators to use our video conferencing platform (unless otherwise planned), and direct staff to additional web-based resources, virtual activity recommendations, and demonstrations to continue their learning and development at the conclusion of the program.
