Attend the POBS Alumni Dragon Boat Team Builder
On Saturday, April 12, 2025, come out and meet POBS alumni as we form a 2025 Dragon Boat team!
This will be our fourth year racing and we are excited to have fellow Outward Bound alum Dave Kunz back as our coach. On Saturday, April 12, Dave will give a presentation on Dragon Boat racing, go over what is involved and our practice schedule, and answer any questions. We will also take part in some Outward Bound team-building activities!
You must be an Outward Bound Alumni to join the team. (If you are not sure if you are an alum, just ask us)
NOTE: Being on the team means you are expected to attend practices (on the river) 3 times as well as race day which is Saturday, June 7, 2025. Practice dates are already scheduled: Tuesday May 13 at 5:30 pm, Tuesday May 20 at 5:30 pm, and Tuesday June 3 at 5:30 pm.

FYI there is a registration fee. Cost for students is $30; for adults $50. We will work with you if you need this fee waived. (Note: these fees are NOT due on April 12, this event is free to attend).
