This month we cover the recent success of Building Adventure 2021! This high-adrenaline fundraiser for the Philadelphia Outward Bound School (POBS) in which participants rappel down a skyscraper in Center City was an unqualified success!
With the participation of 111 rappellers and some 2,000 individual donations, POBS was able to exceed our goal of $200,000, to raise an eye-popping $313,000!
Highlights of the event include rappels by former Philly Mayor (and POBS co-founder) Michael Nutter, chefs extraordinaire Michael Solomonov and Jennifer Carroll, and Philly team mascots Swoop (Eagles) and Franklin (Sixers).
