Become a Wilderness First Responder!
In February POBS will be hosting a Wilderness First Responder (WFR) certification course. The WFR course provides essential training in wilderness medicine, leadership, and critical thinking for professionals, leaders, and outdoor adventurers in outdoor, low-resource, and remote environments. Every year, Philadelphia Outward Bound School offers four fully-funded merit award courses. Admission to these courses is highly selective and includes an application, essay, letters of recommendation, and an interview.
